We believe that kids thrive where nature thrives. Twende Porini, Swahili for "Go to the Wild", aims to help refugee and immigrant children build relationships with Mother Earth and start a journey of environmental stewardship in their lives.

Kids from refugee communities such as Clarkston, GA  gather to listen to beautiful and inspiring stories about nature and the environment.

GONDWANA LEARNING GARDEN

More than a garden, it is a safe space where refugee kids from Metro Atlanta gather to learn how nature feeds us and how to make healthy food choices.

CLARKSTON YOUTH HIKING CLUB

Monthly hiking opportunities where children ages 9 to 13 and their parents explore different parks and nature preserves around Atlanta
